How to redeem a gift in Motivosity.

What are Gifts in Motivosity?

Gifts are a great way to show appreciation and recognition to users within Motivosity. They can be added to milestones, achievements, or awards, making them a versatile tool for acknowledging the hard work and dedication for team members. In this article, we'll walk you through how to redeem gifts in Motivosity.

How to Redeem a Gift

If you have received a gift in Motivosity, you can view which gifts you have received via email or through the Home page in Motivosity.

Once you are on the Gift page, you can view which gifts you have received.

There are two types of gifts you can redeem from. We'll go over each option below:

Selecting Multiple Gifts

When given the option to select one or more gifts at a time, you will see which items you can select from in a specified catalog and how many you can select.

When you select an item, you can choose to add this item to your cart by selecting the "Add to Cart" button.

We'll let you know that the item has been added to your cart with a confirmation screen. You can resume selecting your items by selecting "Continue shopping".

A selected item will display with an outline around it. You can always remove items that you have selected by clicking the "Remove" button.

When there are no more items that can be selected, the other options will be greyed out.

Once you have selected all of your items and are ready to checkout, select the "Checkout now" button at the top of the page.

You will then see your items on the checkout screen. You can review the items you have selected here. When you are ready, select "Redeem gift".

Please note: Depending on your selected items, you may need to verify your shipping information to ensure they’re sent to the correct location. Digital items may be available immediately, while some may require you to reach out to claim them. You can see how the item will be claimed under the "Review Items" section along with additional information.

After you have redeemed your items, a confirmation modal will appear letting you know your order as been placed. You can then select "Done".

You can then review the status of your order from the "Orders" page on your profile.

Redeeming Preselected Gifts

If you have received a gift and are asked to verify your shipping address, this means there are preselected items that you will need to confirm how they are sent to you.

First, you can see how many gifts and which items you will receive on the redemption page. You may see a message like "You received X gifts!" at the top of the page.

You can either enter your address or edit an existing address by selecting the "Edit Address" button.

A modal will open that will allow you to edit/add the following information:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Address

  • Country

  • City

  • State/Providence

  • Postal Code

  • Phone Number

When you are ready, you can select "Update Address".

Once you have confirmed your address, select the "Confirm Address and Ship" button.

Please Note: Some preselected items may offer variable options. For example, if you receive clothing, you'll be able to choose your preferred size.

You will then see your items on the checkout screen. You can review the items you have selected here. When you are ready, select "Redeem gift". After you have redeemed your items, a confirmation modal will appear letting you know your order as been placed.

You can then review the status of your order from the "Orders" page on your profile.
