Integrating Motivosity with Deel

Integrating Motivosity with Deel is a seamless experience and will help get your onboarding and off-boarding workflows integration in minutes. This article will walk you through how to get your integration started and what to expect once Deel has been integrated.

Getting Started

Integrating Motivosity with Deel is a simple process that can be completed in just a few steps. To get started, follow the instructions below:

First, from the navigation bar in Motivosity select "More" and then "Setup".

From the "Setup" page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select "Integrations".

On the "Integrations" page, you will see an option to "Browse HRIS Integrations", Select this option and a modal will open allowing you to search and find the Deel icon.

Please Note: If you do not see the "Browse HRIS Integrations" option, please reach out to our Support Team or your Customer Success Manager and they can help get this enabled.

Once you have selected the Deel icon, go ahead and select "Use my credentials (recommended)"

Next, you will see a message that says, "You must be an administrator of Deel in order to link to Motivosity successfully." If you are a Deel admin, select "I am an admin".

Next, choose which type of account are you connecting. This can either be "Production data" or "Sandbox data".

You will then see a screen that will allow you to review your data permissions. This is the data Motivosity can read to make sure the integration can function properly. When you are ready, select "Next".

You will then be asked once more if you connecting a sandbox or production account.

After you select which account you are connecting, you will need to log in to Deel.

You will be prompted to log in and connect your account by selecting the "Open Window" button.

You will then be redirected to a page where you will see "Merge is requesting permission to access your Deel data". Merge is the application we use to connect with Deel. When you are ready select "Allow".

You will then be brought back to Motivosity where the integration will begin. Once finished, you will see a "Success" screen where you can then finish setting up the integration.

And that's it! Your Motivosity account is now integrated with Deel and you can start using the two platforms together.

What to Expect

Once your Motivosity account is integrated with Deel, you can expect the following:

  • An initial FULL sync will shortly start after integrating with Deel. If everything has been set up correctly, all your active employees will be imported into Motivosity from Deel.

  • When you add any NEW employees to Deel, they will automatically be added to Motivosity.

  • When making updates to existing employees, these changes will automatically be synced to Motivosity to the respected user profile.

  • When terminations take place in Deel, these changes will sync into Motivosity making sure the user account is deactivated and can no longer access the platform.
