Using a Credit Card as a Payment Method
Quick Note: there is a 3.5% transaction fee for all credit cards deposits.
You can add a credit card as a payment method in Motivosity. This is a quick and easy way to start funding your prepaid account, as credit cards are instantly verified.
After you have added a credit card as a payment method, the transaction processing time is about 4-6 hours before funds will show in your Prepaid Account. After the transaction is complete, the funds will be available for your employees to use.
Funding Limits for Credit Cards:
Your first deposit is limited to $1,000.
Once your first deposit clears and after 24 hours, that limit goes to $2,500.
After that, you are limited to $5,000 per deposit.
We will notify you if you enter over the deposit limit when attempting to add these funds.
Adding a Credit Card as a Payment Method
If you haven't added a payment method yet, click the “+ Payment Method” button in the upper right corner of the Funding Page.
If you've already added a payment method, click the “View All” button in the upper right corner, then select the “+ New Payment Method” button in the Payment Method modal.
From here, you can select to add a Credit Card payment method.
Start by filling out the form to add a Credit Card. You’ll start by entering in the following information; Card number, Expiration, and CVC.
Next, you will select your country and enter in your postal code. After, select "Submit".
Once you have added this information your credit card should now be added to Motivosity and be ready to use.
Editing, Deleting, and Default Payment Methods
To view your payment methods you’ve added, select the “View All” button in the upper right corner from the Funding Page.
From the Payment Method modal, you can select the three dots on the right side of any payment method and select to edit or delete a payment method.
You will also have the option to make a payment method your Default Payment Method.
By making a payment method default, this will be the payment method that is pre-selected when depositing funds or turning on Auto Funding.
Please Note: payment methods may be changed from the default when depositing funds if needed.
