The ThanksMatters Card allows your users to redeem their Motivosity Bucks ANYWHERE that Visa is accepted. In order for your employees to be able to access the ThanksMatters card. If your company qualifies for the ThanksMatters Card Visa Program, you will need to follow the steps listed below in order to enroll. (Some of you may know this as a "Know Your Business" verification.)
Who Qualifies?
In order to qualify for the ThanksMatters Card Visa Program the following must be true:
Your company MUST have a Valid US address and you must be able to provide an Employer Identification Number (EIN), and the person representing the company will need to provide a Social Security Number (SSN), or a Tax Payer Identification Number (TIN).
If you are a Publicly Traded Company, please get a hold of your Customer Success Representative (or email cs@Motivosity.com if you're not sure who that is), they will help you see if you qualify and help you get set up.
If you are a Private Company, your owner(s) with 25% or more ownership (or the owner of significant control if all owner(s) have less than 25% ownership) must have a US address and be able to provide their SSN.
Is there a charge for activating the ThanksMatters Cards?
Virtual ThanksMatters cards are FREE OF CHARGE.
ThanksMatters cards have a digital 16-digit number, an expiration date, and a security code. You will be able to see that from within your Motivosity account.
If you download the Motivosity App, you can add the ThanksMatters card to your digital wallet, then use that anywhere you use Tap-To-Pay.
Physical Cards can be printed on an individual basis, and those will have a cost associated with it. You will have the ability to allow or disallow employees from ordering a ThanksMatters card page from the Setup > ThanksMatters Card page. When an employee orders a card, that money is taken from your Pre-Fund Account Balance.

How to Enroll in the ThanksMatters Card Visa Program
The process will be different depending on if you're a publicly traded company or a privately owned company.
Publicly Traded Companies
If you are a Publicly Traded Company, the steps for you to enroll are different than for a Private Company. Please contact your Customer Success Representative (or email SuccessTeam@Motivosity.com if you're not sure who that is) and they will help you get in touch with the best person to help you out.
Private Companies
For Private Companies you will follow these steps to enroll in the ThanksMatters Card Visa Program:
Step 1: Go to ThanksMatters Card Page in Motivosity
Click on Setup > ThanksMatters Card (in the Money Management section or the Getting Started Section if you're in Implementation)
Step 2: Click Complete
From this page, click Complete Forms
Step 3: Who will Complete Verification?
This next step must be completed by someone with significant control and management of your business. Verification completion may require the collection of additional individual company ownership information.
If YOU are the person who will complete the verification process, click Next.
If you are not the person to complete the process, type in that person's email address and click "Send and Close". That person will receive and email with a link to continue onto the steps below. You can send them this article or help them finish the following steps.
Step 4: Fill in Business Info in Stripe
You (or the person you have selected in the step above) will be directed to fill in some information about your company
Step 5: Fill In Your Info in Stripe
Continue to fill in information about YOU -- verifying that you are authorized to represent this company.
Step 6: Complete the ID Verification with Picture
You can choose to take a picture of your ID using your phone, or your webcam, or uploading a picture.
Step 7: Accept the Terms of Service
Here you will see the various Terms and Conditions that will apply for you participating in this program. You can click those links to read more, then click Accept.
Step 8: Review your information and Agree & Submit
Make sure everything looks good on this page! If there's an error, you'll see it here as well.
Step 9: Back to Motivosity to see that everything is good!
Once this has been done, you will be redirected to Motivosity and should see that you've completed these steps.
