How to Activate Your Physical ThanksMatters Card
If your company has signed up to make the ThanksMatters cards available for employees, you'll need to begin by activating it. You will see that option from the home page under your spending balance. Click Request Card:
Next, you will be asked to fill out your billing address. Don't worry! We won't be billing you... but merchants run these cards like Credit Cards, and some of them will ask for a billing address. Whatever billing address you put here (home or work) just remember that so when you shop online you use a matching address.
You will also be asked to accept the terms and conditions, so make sure you flip that switch at the bottom of the page before moving on.
Physical ThanksMatters Card
Your company may have also turned on a setting to where you can request a physical card. If they did, while you are requesting your virtual card, you will be prompted to fill in an address for where that physical card should be sent.
How to Activate Your Physical ThanksMatters Card
If you have received your physical ThanksMatters card in the mail, it's ready to be activated. Once you have activated your card, it will immediately be ready to use at any location and online where Visa is accepted. To get started, please do the following:
First, from the Home Page in Motivosity, you should see a message under your ThanksMatters card that says "Has your card arrived? Activate now". If you do see this message and your card has arrived, go ahead and select the "Card details" button.
Next, from your Physical Card tab, you should see that your card has shipped. From here, select the "Activate it now!" link.
You should then be presented with a screen that will prompt you to enter in the last four digits of your new ThanksMatters card. Once you enter these in, select the "Activate physical card" button.
Once you have activated your card, you should now see your ThanksMatters card as active with the options to pause your card at any time.
