Overview

Have you ever wanted to spend your Motivosity bucks while you were filling your car up with gas, at the grocery store, or while you were out to eat? The ThanksMatters Card makes that possible! This article will help walk you through how to activate your ThanksMatters Card in Motivosity!

Getting Started

To get started activating your ThanksMatters Card, go ahead and do the following: 

1. Open Motivosity
2. From the Home Page, on the left-hand side, you should see a button that says "Activate Your Card" 

Please Note: If you have already activated your ThanksMatters Card, you should see your card with a 16 digit number and your CVV code.

At this point, there are two different activation types depending on your location.

US/Canada Users

If you are located in the United States or Canada, go ahead and follow these next steps:

1. Select the "Activate Your Card" button as you saw above
2. A new window will open with the steps to activate your card
3. Please enter in a valid billing address

Additional Note: If you would like a physical ThanksMatters Card, go ahead and check the "Send a physical ThanksMatters Card to this address" box and a physical card will be sent to the address you entered.

Once you are finished go ahead and check the next box to "... accept the Motivosity and Stripe cardholder agreement" and then hit "Save"!

From here, your card is now activated in Motivosity! This is a virtual card that includes a 16 digit card number, expiration date, and CVV code. 

Please Note: If you have selected to receive a physical card, this will have a different card number from your virtual card but is linked to your same Spending Balance.

Outside the US/Canada

If you are located outside of the United States or Canada, go ahead and follow these next steps:

Please Note: The following locations are excluded; Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and Ukraine - Crimea only

1. Select the "Activate Your Card" button as you saw above
2. A new window will open with the steps to activate your card
3. Enter in a valid phone number, and your birthdate
4. Check the "I accept the Motivosity and Stripe cardholder agreement" box and then hit "Save"!

From here, your card is now activated in Motivosity! This is a virtual card that includes a 16 digit card number, expiration date, and CVV code.
