When you delete a user, their account will continue to exist for three days in the Deleted User Report found on the Insights page of your administrator account.
Sometimes you really just need a user gone forever NOW!
If that's the case, go to that Deleted User Report found on the left side of your Insights page. You should see something like this.
Press that red Force Delete button but be warned, if you go through with this, it is non-reversible!
Just to double check, you'll be prompted to confirm the action. If you press yes, they'll be gone for good.
Motivosity now allows you to add multiple cards.
Companies that wish to have cards for different departments, for example, can now add them in the Setup -> Store area of the application.
This facilitates the process of depositing funds into the tango account from multiple cards.
Motivosity offers an integration with Slack. The reason for this integration is simple: Slack users do much of their communicating in the tool and recognizing someone from within the Slack application is a natural flow.
To enable slack for your team, go to Integrations under your Setup Page.
You should see a number of different things you can integrate with - go ahead and click on Slack.
You will now see an 'Add to Slack' button that will hand you off to Slack to finish the setup.
Next, you'll want to authorize usage and select a chat group where Motivosity appreciations will appear. (Example: #general)
Once authorization is complete, mv-slack will be available to your team. What this means is that team members can give recognition by typing '/mv' and then the recognition.
The format is as follows:
/mv Person's Name. Note of appreciation. $money #company value

We are happy to announce the new benchmarking dashboard. This dashboard will compare your culture drivers with other peer companies and tell you where your company fits.
The Benchmark Dashboard has two main categories: Activity and Engagement and Satisfaction.
Underneath Activity there are two categories:
- Appreciations Per Person - this is how many appreciations, on average, each person received in your company last month. A goal of 2.5 is recommended
- % Receiving Thanks - this is the percentage of people who received a thanks in your organization last month. A goal of 85% is recommended.
Underneath Engagement and Satisfaction there are six categories: These questions are based off of the survey that the users are asked to fill out 3/4 times a year.
- Appreciation last 7 days - Survey Question 1
- My Boss Cares - Survey Question 2
- Friend at work - Survey Question 3
- Loyalty to the company - Survey Question 4
- Company Referability - Survey Question 5
- Agree with company values - Survey Question 6
The dashboard itself contains comparison low score, high score, average score, your score, your percentile, and the target. Share this with your exec teams and let us know your interest in additional benchmarks.
The kiosk functionality now provides a URL for the company org chart.
To enable your kiosk, go to 'Setup->Preferences' just scroll to the bottom and check the 'Kiosk Mode' button.

This new panel in the Engagement Dashboard (Insight -> Engagement) shows the percentage of people who have received appreciations during the period of time specified.
This panel also shows the raw number of people receiving appreciations and the number of appreciations received during the selected period.
On the Setup -> Preferences page, there is now a field for 'Motivosity Point of Contact'.This information will be used to help communicate with the right person in a few circumstances such as:
- Who to talk to about account issues such as when someone wants their email changed or wants an account created
- Who to deliver system-related information to such as when a user's email is bouncing
The WDYA Widget (or 'Who do you Appreciate' widget) is a small HTML snippet you can paste onto any webpage and give appreciations.
To use this widget, just paste the following into your web page:
What will appear in your page is something like this:
This is the widget at rest. When you click on the field, the widget will expand and allow users to create an appreciation right from the widget itself.
This widget also supports sso. If you have your service already set up, add a parameter called 'sso-url' to the script tag.
Put your SSO provider url in as a the value (like sso-url="https://sso-location-url"). You may need to contact support for additional help with this.
When you, logged in as an admin, edit a user's profile, you will see on the third panel a new option under 'Access' called 'Finance'.
This access priviledge will allow a user to have full access to all of the reports in the 'Insight' section of the application
